Buttons

Inspired by Henry Selick’s Coraline, “Buttons” plays with themes of being pushed into entrapment of the self. The editorial explores what it means to be forced in the gender binary, coming to terms with reality, and ultimately embracing identity. Buttons are used as various accessories to showcase the moment one breaks free of those expectations, on a journey to acceptance and the euphoria that awaits.
