The holidays in Boston offer a break from the hustle and bustle of college life and a chance to slow down. The city lights up with twinkling Christmas decorations, and the crisp winter air is filled with the scent of freshly baked cookies and hot cocoa. Whether you're grabbing a bite at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, shopping at Snowport with friends, or taking a study break to wander through the Boston Common, there's a certain magic in the air. It's a time for cozy nights with friends and family, hearty meals (or late-night pizza), and plenty of laughter. Wrapped in blankets or bundled up for a snowy walk, it's the perfect season to recharge and make memories.

As the semester comes to an end and many of us prepare to head home, it's the perfect time to take advantage of everything Boston has to offer before we leave! With finals fast approaching and little time to catch our breath, it's more important than ever to carve out moments for ourselves to relax and have fun. Recharging will help us power through the final stretch!

Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Be sure to check out the exciting events at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, home to the world-famous Quincy Market. Every Saturday through December 21st, from 12-8 PM, head over to the Holiday Pop-Up Market in the Quincy Market Upper Rotunda. It's the perfect spot to do your holiday shopping. While you're there, make sure to explore the variety of local food vendors offering everything from fresh seafood and delicious snacks to mouthwatering desserts. Photos with Santa are also available next to the Coach Store in the South Market Building until December 24th. It is definitely not a place to miss this holiday season!

Snowport

Snowport is a must-see destination in Boston, especially as the holiday season is in full swing. Located in the Seaport District, it offers stunning views of Boston's marina and harbor, making it a perfect spot to soak in the city's winter charm. But be sure to bundle up, the chilly Boston wind can be crisp. You'll come across chic pop-up shops offering unique, locally crafted holiday gifts, perfect for finding that last-minute gift for a loved one. Whether you're looking for handmade jewelry, cozy winter accessories, or festive home décor, there is plenty for everyone.

The food scene at Snowport is impressive, with over 100 vendors serving up delicious seasonal treats. From hot pretzels and roasted chestnuts to mouth-watering pastries, there's something for everyone. A must-try is the hot chocolate, rich and warming, it's the perfect drink to enjoy this season. Also, be sure to visit the Christmas Tree Market. With twinkling lights and beautifully decorated trees, it’s the ideal spot to get into the spirit of the season. And don’t forget to say hello to Betty the Yeti!

Boston Ballet

The Boston Ballet’s The Nutcracker is a magical holiday tradition, with stunning sets, beautiful costumes, and mesmerizing dancing. If you're under 20, you can get 50% off tickets! Making it an even better reason to go! It’s truly a wonderful sight you definitely do not want to miss.

Boston Common

The Boston Common is a must, especially with the Frog Pond skating rink up and running. With the city skyline in the background and the surrounding trees lit up for the holidays, the rink is a classic Boston experience and perfect for a winter outing to get your mind off of schoolwork.
